2022- Heart Surgeries
Our mission was a noble endeavor to transport a team of 11 skilled and compassionate Mexican medical staff, comprising surgeons, nurses, and an anesthesiologist, to Hospital La Mascota in Nicaragua. The purpose was to perform life-saving surgeries on 11 children afflicted with severe heart conditions. This mission was unique and crucial, as the hospital lacked the necessary staff and experienced surgeons to undertake such complex procedures. The dedication of our volunteers shone brightly as they not only contributed their expertise but also selflessly donated their time to comfort and support the young patients. In addition to the surgeries, we took it upon ourselves to create a recreational room at the hospital, providing a much-needed source of joy and distraction for these brave little ones throughout their recovery. Our mission was driven by compassion, commitment, and a shared vision of transforming lives, one heartbeat at a time.

Mision Sonrie Colombia
In the spirit of compassion and unity, a team of dedicated volunteers embarked on a life-changing mission to Colombia to bring joy and support to an orphanage housing child from the streets or violent families. Beyond the basic necessities of food, medicine, and clothes, these altruistic individuals had a unique goal: to share their own culture and ignite the spirit of Christmas in the hearts of the children.
Arriving at the orphanage, the volunteers were greeted with heartwarming smiles that exuded resilience and hope. The children, who had experienced untold hardships, had their faces lit up with excitement as they eagerly embraced the new visitors. Many of them had never known the warmth of a loving family, making this interaction all the more significant. The volunteers made it their mission to become friends, mentors, and role models to these children, striving to give them a sense of belonging and security.
Each child received a carefully selected gift, a symbol of love and encouragement that lifted their spirits to new heights. For many, it was their first-ever Christmas celebration, and the memory of this special day would forever be etched in their hearts.

Recognizing the enduring trauma and hardships faced by these young minds, we sought to create an atmosphere of hope, unity, and cultural remembrance. The event served not only as a celebration of Nicaraguan heritage but also as a beacon of light for those seeking refuge in a foreign land. By fostering a sense of community and understanding, we aimed to empower these resilient students with the tools and resources necessary to forge a brighter future, helping them heal, grow, and overcome the adversities that they had faced. Recognizing his struggle and the vital importance of a specialized bed to enhance his quality of life, we embarked on a mission to provide him with the support he required. Through the combined efforts of our compassionate team and the generous contributions from our dedicated donors, we were able to procure a specially designed bed tailored to Elmer's unique needs. Witnessing the joy and relief on his face as he lay comfortably on his new bed reaffirmed the power of collective compassion and reaffirmed our belief in the transformative impact we can achieve when we come together to make a difference in the lives of those facing adversity. Thelma and her Oxygen Concentrator: Our founder's mission was thrust into the path of destiny when we encountered a woman named Thelma, who shared the same name as our founder late mother. Thelma, unfortunately, was struck by a debilitating illness that demanded an oxygen concentrator for her survival. As we learned more about her situation, it felt like an inexplicable connection with the heavens, an unmistakable sign to step forward and alleviate the suffering of this impoverished soul. Thelma's life was a reflection of the many challenges faced by the underprivileged in Nicaragua. With limited access to healthcare resources, she found herself entangled in a web of helplessness, unable to afford the vital medical equipment she desperately needed. The connection between her name and our founder's mother instilled a profound sense of responsibility and compassion. It felt as though the universe conspired to put us on a path that was meant to bring solace to Thelma's life. We understood that this was a golden opportunity to reaffirm the values that formed the bedrock of our foundation and make a tangible impact on someone's life.

As a humanitarian organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need, our second mission took us to a poverty-stricken city in desperate need of assistance. With a vision of bringing joy and nourishment to the children of this community, we collaborated with a devoted nun Paula Hidalgo who runs a hostel for the most vulnerable members of society. Our objective was to provide not only meals but also toys, hope, and a sense of belonging to these young souls who had known nothing but hardship. From the moment we stepped into the hostel, we were greeted with beaming smiles and eager eyes. The children's enthusiasm was palpable, and it touched our hearts profoundly. Our team organized various activities to interact with the children, emphasizing the importance of education and personal growth. Through storytelling sessions, art workshops, and group games, we aimed to instill a sense of hope and motivation in their young hearts. One of the most rewarding aspects of our mission was witnessing the sheer delight on the children's faces when they received toys and gifts. Generous donations from our supporters made it possible for us to bring toys, school supplies, and personal hygiene items for each child. Our first mission was born out of such compassion, when we set out to aid a sick baby who had been abandoned at a hospital in Nicaragua, left to the uncertainties of fate. The abandoned baby, left to her own devices in a Nicaraguan hospital, captured our attention and awakened a deep sense of responsibility to make a difference. The mission to help this sick baby abandoned was an embodiment of human compassion, unity, and the resilience of the human spirit. By extending a helping hand to a vulnerable life, we reaffirmed our commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
